PECO No. 6 Double Slip Switch Turnout, Unilfrog, CD 83 HO PCOSL-U8363
Double slips are great space savers, a feature not lost on the railroads which used them on the approaches to stations in order to be able to switch trains onto multiple routes within the limited confines of a station throat. The new double slip Peco offers is in the Unifrog format and it's a first for the "83 Line". UNIFROG EXPLAINED For current users of the Electrofrog or Insulfrog versions of Peco turnouts the new Unifrog format gives modelers the best of both worlds. As supplied, the turnout is wired completely "live", except for the frog tip and wing rails, and can be used straight out of the packet without any further modification (and so behaves like an Insulfrog). However, the modeler can choose to electrify the frog and wing rails by connecting the pre-welded wires as shown on the diagram. To change polarity the modeler can use our PL-13 or PL-15 change-over switch/microswitch, or the SmartSwitch SmartFrog PLS-130.
